A little known secret, but non-amplified headphones have the same basic components as microphones. You can plug it into the mic hole, and it'll receive sound into your PC - just speak into the earpiece. Not as good as a real microphone, but if it's all you got, it's better than nothing.

Just a Few Places to Look....I have one but I don't think they make them Like this anymore....
I would hate to take off the old Ear Muffs to speak to anyone then I wouldn't be able to here them...

any pc shop or most supermarkets do them now and they are not expensive
