higher. I also have a gateway that is only 2 years old and i noticed that the screen resolution is much higher than my presario. like pics and icons arent really clear. and the resolution is already at the highest that it can go I dont have hardware acceleration up all the way will that make the quality better? thanks

buy a video card with driver and increase it that way or update the driver on driverguide.com if your using the onboard.

Ok simple is if u have a graphics card, in the taskbar on the right there should be an icon - click it or right click it once and look for screen resolution. If no icon then right click empty space on desktop and then go properties, then settings. You can change it there.
