They say they clean up smudges and streaks, but after I used them I got more streaks. I used 3d Microfiber Electronics Cloth and that seemed to do the job better. What did I do wrong with the pc wipes?

Nothing ... the screen was probably just dirtier on the first attempt at cleaning it.
The wipes did most of the work ... the microfiber cleaned up the rest.... logical, yes ?
Microfiber nonetheless a better choice.

Did the PC wipes say for LCD screens?
Last time I checked, PC and LCD don't mean the same thing...
Using something generic that has multiple uses will rarely be as good as another product in the area that it's specialized.

Eh, the pc wipes are hit and miss. microfibre is a good way to go.
