Radiation is not the only cause of eye exhaustion. Refresh Frequency helps a lot. e.g if you've got a CRT monitor, you can reduce the effect of radiation by adjusting the refresh rate as maximum as supported.

To adjust the frequency:
Control Panel > Display > Settings tab > [Advanced] > Monitor tab > Sliding Menu of "Screen refresh rate". Choose the maximum value, if blank screen don't panic. Just press SPACE. Always try to select more than 60 Hz.

An LCD flat-screen monitor will produce MUCH less radiation than one with a big fat CRT monitor because of the technology used.

That's pretty much all you can control.
