I recently formatted m computer and now my screen resolution changes every time I turn on my computer it goes back to 800 by 600. How can I keep it to the resolution I have it(1024 by 768)

Formatting your computer means nothing if you don't install your chipset drivers and graphics card driver for your computer. Reinstall the drivers and whatever resolution you set will remain.
