My Inspiron 700m LCD recently went bad and the LCD is flickering, flashing, and displaying tons of vertical lines. I was told by a computer technician that there are currently a few lawsuits going on against Dell about faulty LCD's. Does anyone else have this same problem with their 700m? Is there any way I can get Dell to fix or replace my computer? Please help!

Hi, My girlfriends laptop is having issues. First the adapter she got with the computer died on her today so she went to get another one and within 2 hours it killed that one too. I tried them on my laptop to see if they were turly dead and they were. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? Could a short in her laptop be frying the adapters?

Hi guys, I was burning cds on my new laptop.. and when I took the cd out, I forgot to close the drive and I put my hand down and it touched the laser. Do you think anything it is messed up now, or the quality of the laser has decreased?

I want to buy an apple laptop, probably a G4, but I need to know a few things first. I am looking on ebay and some of the descriptions say memory will be wiped clean. Does this mean that it won't come with some of the programs like GarageBand and iMovie? Also, if I'm going on a trip how can I access the internet with a wireless laptop? I'll be going to college in the fall so I'm going to buy a laptop. I have never bought one before so I don't know where to begin looking for one. Im looking for an affordable laptop that I can rely on.
I hear that macs are good overall but not so great for gaming.
im not sure about dell....
also, the specific games that I will be playing are Elder scrolls IV: Oblivion and World of Warcraft
