My Inspiron 700m LCD recently went bad and the LCD is flickering, flashing, and displaying tons of vertical lines. I was told by a computer technician that there are currently a few lawsuits going on against Dell about faulty LCD's. Does anyone else have this same problem with their 700m? Is there any way I can get Dell to fix or replace my computer? Please help!

Hi. Seem to be a common problem. I would bring it back for repair. From the web: "You checked the "hinge" cable that attaches the lcd to the bottom part of the laptop? Inspirons are know to have this issue. When you open and close the laptop, the cable is under stress. It does come loose on these Dells."
