Purchase a gateway router. Home grade ones run under $100 and are fair quality.

Follow the makers directions on the install.

If the router has only 1 LAN port you will also need a network switch. Both pcs and the router LAN are connected to network switch via straight CAT5 cable.

If the router has 2 or more LAN ports (many do) you plug both pcs in separate LAN ports of router w. straight cat 5 cable.

You can also use wireless LAN routers. In this case you need wireless adapters on the pcs (some notebooks come with them) instead of cat5. Always use a wired connection when configuring a wireless router.

if u want to share a internet connection on both pc,why dont we make it simple by getting a network hub or a router to power both system in ur house
