For some reason, my IE has been stuck with add-ons disabled. I know I can manage my add-ons under "tools" but it's no longer highlighted for me to select it. Any idea how to fix it?

I'm not looking for anything to serious, I'm just wanting to play games like Pain Killer, Doom 3, F.E.A.R at medium too good quality. I'm look to spend like 200 bucks or a little under. my current system is a Gateway Intel 4, 2.75Ghz, 1.5GB RAM, GeforceFX 5200 and PCI slots.

I'm not sure but believe my current video card is built into the motherboard. Not that I think it matters...I was just thinking about getting a SLI card...but I found out its best to have a matching card in speed and model if you have SLI. I'm pretty sure...but want to be certain...you have to have TWO SLI cards to take advantage of SLI technology right? Thx for any repiles

has anyone ever used a pci recover card,i have seen one on the misco website and i am curious to what it does.i ahve heard of recovery programs and applications but not a actual peice of hardware that you put in your p.c
any ideas?

have tried portable media device, has no disable, delete or whatever. Under my computer in control panel there is no option for disabling or deleting Write Protection. I've tried all of the suggestions under the above 4 answers of "how to remove write protection on my flash drive. My flash drive (s) are not faulty. Can someone please help. There is no "switch" on the side of the flash drives. I have 3 Sandisk Cruzer, 2 Kingstons, and they have nothing on them. I do know how to remove media drives correctly. I don't need to know how to do that. Thanks

I use a 64MB USB flashdrive on my PC at home, and on a Mac at work. When I try to save files onto my USB, an error occurs where there isn't enough space; after deleting some larger files from the flash drive, there is still not enough space. When I change the view options on my PC to see hidden files, I see backup (???) files of those I already deleted still existing on my flash drive and taking up space. Is there any way to prevent backup files from being created so I can easily use my flash drive without having to worry about deleting hidden files? Thanks to all who reply.

I want to buy the best PCI video card for my crappy Dell Dimension 3000. I can't buy PCI-Express or AGP because I don't have those slots. Here is the one I'm looking at:

Visiontek Radeon X1300 SFF / 256MB DDR2 / PCI / DVI / HDTV / Small Form Factor

I read this is one of the best PCI video cards out there but I don't want to order it to find out it doesn't work.


Can you please tell me if this will work in my Dimension 3000?
Also, do more powerful video cards require more computer memory? I'm thinking about buying some of that too.

I have an old laptop with windows 98 which is running out of space on the hard drive. Can I get a 1 gb usb flash drive and use it as a hard drive? Specifically I want to load a tax program on to it and do tax returns and save the info just as if it were a hard drive.

it's like a floppy disk that can save things into it but then it doesnt look like a floppy disk, it looks small, like those wireless mouse where that thing you have to plug into the computer so that the mouse get's signal so it can move, it looks like that and it is used like a floppy disk but it is better it can save more stuff i think. does anyone know what's called?

My external hard drive cannot be identified by a drive letter on my hard drive. It detects it but I cannot access it because the drive letter does not show up .. storagesync backup software came with the simpletech external hard drive. Now I cannot access my data on the hard drive .. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
