can i transfer music to/ from sony nw-e407 to seagate hard drive?

Not exactly!! You will have to use Sony's 'Sonic Stage' software and make a folder on your hard drive as the default library. You can only store the files in one place at a time I think!

This device has a USB connector on it so I would suggest that you should be able to transfer to/from this device from your PC / Laptop
