of course you can upgrade it, simply get a better graphic card and plug it to the PCI slot, and then install the driver.

It depends on the computer itself, as it may have an AGP or PCI-Express slot for you to upgrade your graphics card. You can always "upgrade" by buying a PCI card, but you will not see any improvements.

just means graphics are built into your motherboard (cheap way of doing it) and your chip is slowed down because it also does the graphics. adding a graphics card is a good idea. check your motherboard for available slots and go to newegg.com. whoever you bought your computer from should know your motherboard or you can open it and look. note - if a laptop, things are much harder but sometimes do-able.

Not at all. Most of the new motherboards support PCI-X cards. And all the motherboards support AGP cards.
The only thing you have to disable the onboard graphics card and then enable the new card in BIOS.

If it's a laptop, then yes, if it's a desktop, then no. Find out if you have a PCI-E or just an AGP slot, then you can shop for an appropriate video card.

No. In fact, we just did. Got a separate video card to run a second monitor. Plug in the card, plug the monitors into the card, and voila!

Only if its a laptop! However, if you have a desktop, you will want to know what type of mobo slots you have before you make a purchase.
