How can i know the type of my RAM i mean is it DDR1 or DDR2 i know its DDR but i don't know whether its 1 or 2 please help.

There is a website you can go to. It tells you how much RAM you have, how much your computer can hold, and what types. The website is in the sources. When you go to the website click SCAN MY SYSTEM, then it is self-explanatory from there.
