Hi......
Sometimes I cannot establish my wireless connection on my vista loaded laptop(Toshiba A200-19L).It is preloaded with vista home premium and therefor I dont think that this is the problem of my wireless driver.After 2, 3 restarts, it will display my wireless network and then will connect.I have a desktop also and it will not create any problems with this wireless.I dont know whether this is the problem of my lap or vista.can anybody help me?????????????????????

I just got this new compuer about a month or two ago and the DVD burner doesn't seem to be working though. I have previously burned two DVD's, so it was working fine before, but now whenever I try to burn something, right when it's at 99%, it comes up saying "Error" and a message about it not be able to complete. It suggested changing the speed, which I did to the slowest, but it did the same thing when I tried burning again. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Also, I don't know if I have two separate programs, but there is Windows DVD Burner and NTI-CD & DVD Maker 7. I've been trying to burn with Windows since whenever I drag a movie into NTI, it comes up saying it's not a file the program supports.

Help!!

i recently bought this graphics card off ebay, and on the memory slot of the description on the auction, it said the card was 64Mb.
but ive run dxdiag and got the specs up, and it says only 4Mb.
now i can't understand why it is saying this, sice i bought the card thinking it was 64Mb.
so could anyone confirm that this card only has 4Mb and that i've been ripped off, or is there something im missing?

ive tried this card on both windows XP and ME, made the card default through the BIOS, but yet on both systems dxdiag tells me only 4Mb, i would understand on XP because, i never could get it to work at first, and then just randomly it worked...strange...

I'm thinking on buying a laptop. I'm in Highschool and i love watching movies and listening to music on my friends laptops. so i would like one with those capabilities. But i'm trying to stay under $1,000. What would you suggest as a good lap top for me? O also I'm kind of stuck on Microsoft so no Mac for me. Allso a nice size screen would be nice.

I have decided to build a new computer but being on a limited budget i don't want to spend more than i have to at first. I wanted to get a crossfire motherboard but only buy one graphics card, buying a second card when i had some more money. I don't know much about ram compatability, but I do know that a 184 pin ram wont fit into a 240 pin ram slot. However, since both RAM's the older DDR2 and the newest DDR3 both have 240 pins, I am assuming that the two are interchangable (fitting wise). I don't know if it would be wise to use DDR3 RAM in the motherboard and or mix the two (I can assume that this is probably not reccomended). How can I know exactly what type of ram my motherboard is capable of having. If the slots are 240 pin, and DDR2 and DDR3 are 240 pin (at different speeds however) it would be logical for me to think that it COULD work...Any help would be nice because I am still learning about this stuff. I don't wanna mess up the Alienware that is comming soon...

Hi all,

My computer started making a funny noise about 2 days ago. It's been resting ever since but I did turn it on long enough to try and locate the sound. I think it's coming from my hard drive. Is this possible? If so, what do I do? Simply buy a new hard drive or is all my valuable info on there and if it is how do I transfer it to the new hard drive?

FYI there is the possibility that I didn't find the right part making noise. I have terrible directional hearing. It's a hard noise to explain too.

I have a cd with a small clip on there. It dosent work on there because of the large ammount of scratches. Is there anyway of cleaning it so it can work again. Is there any ways that actualy clean the cd and that actualy work. If so some info on how you cleaned a cd.
