core 2 duo is way better than amd specially for overclocking so its much faster

get the intel viiiv. this is intels specs for a multimedia pc, like centrino is for laptops. get the core duo, it beats nething AMD currently has, until Barcelona comes out.

I vote core duo.I have a core duo X600 2.4 Ghz and with the right cooling system I overclocked it at 3.5 Ghz.I don't have any problems.

depends on what your doing. intel sucks for gaming but beats the crap out of amd application wise. if your gaming go with amd. if your running applications go with intel. I work professionally with these products every single day. I should know.
