i want to install drivers for my sound card but the problem is that i don't know the model no. and the name of it,, is there any way to know it ......?? ,, pls help

Start->Run->"dxdiag"
Look under Sound tab

Go to control panel then click on sound, should tell you the name of the card and or drivers that are installed on your system. Or go to the internet site of the manufacturer, myself would be HP.com put in your model and you can find a host of information about it and get any driver updates for free. Many sites will actually scan your computer to see what components you have.

My computer - control panel - sounds and audio devices - hardware - (list of hardware will be given, it should say what the card is)
