Hi,
I am guessing that you don't have a copy of XP install disk, if you did it's easy, what you have to do is go to add remove programs and remove all the stuff you don't want (games etc) then do a disk Cleanup and then Defrag your Hard Drive to get your free space back again. Hope this helps.

What i tell you here only works if you have an XP disk.
Restart PC with the disk in the disk tray.
Keep Taping an F key (For me its F12) which gives me a menu before XP starts.
I chose "Boot from IDE CD-rom drive"
Then just follow all the intructions it says.
If you dont have an XP disk, then you will have to delete everything manually. Go to control panel, add or remove programs, and go through all the programs slowly and delete all the ones you dont want.
Then after everything is deleted a restart will help, and then run a defragment, anti-virus scan, clean up disk, and scan disk to get rid of all the temperary and uneeded files.
Then give it another reboot and it should be ok.

Click Start, control panel, performance and maintenance, in the column on the left you will see system restore. Click that and select the date. Use the left arrow to go back to the first day that it will allow you to select, dates that are in bold are the days you can select. Click the very first date that you can and follow instructions. If that doesn't do the trick to delete games, etc. then you will have to click start, control panel, add/remove programs, then delete all games and unwanted programs from the list. After you do all that you will have to create a restore point. Click start, control panel, system restore, create a restore point then follow the directions. Doing that will make sure that if you have to do a system restore again then you will go to the point after you deleted all the junk.

You could go to control panel- add remove-and just uninstallall that you don't need. Also go to windows clean up and uncheck any components you will not be using. Without the original windows cd you can't do much more.
