I have brought a Portable Webcam It is a Trust WB-3100P.When I try to install it the Following mesage comes up:
Has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.
What should I do...any one else got Problems with their Webcam.

Sounds like it may not be compatible with XP. You can try to download the drivers for XP here. http://www.trust.fr/products/default.aspx?item=14273&supp=yes

It isn't actually a problem. It just means that the driver hasn't been sent to Microsoft for them to test it. (It costs the respective company money to pay for this testing.)

Just click on the option to continue installation. Trust me, it won't do your computer any harm.

You could also try going to the website of the manufacturer of your webcam to see if you have the latest driver available. Later versions may have a better chance of being certified by Microsoft.

You can download the driver from the following url, but I believe you'll find it's the same driver that you already have on CD.

It Means That It Only Supports A Certain Windows Version.

It hasn't passed the digital signature, of win xp this can be resolved by going onto the microsoft page and obtaining a signature for that device. my scanner had the same problem but i soon fixed it by getting a signature for it.

I use a Trust WB1400-T and it works fine on XP.
