i have what looks like an AV out Mini jack on my laptop. It is yellow, small and looks similar to a headphone jack, but not exact. it has an icon that looks like a rectangular monitor with an arrow starting from the center of the rectangle and pointing away from it. what kind of cable do i need and what do i need to do in order to watch things on my tv, instead of my laptop?

I have recently changed my PC.
I have recycled many components such as hard drive which ive connected as an external.
But there seems so much left.
Is there anyway i can make use of the CPU or find an interface for the RAM which is different.
If not is there anywere that trades 2nd hand computer components.

Thanks People :)

I'm thinking about upgrading the CPU of my Dell Inspiron 6000 notebook. Right now it has the standard issue Pentium M Dothan 1.6GHZ, 2 mb L2 cache, 400FSB. I would like to upgrade it to a Pentium M Dothan 2.26 GHZ, 2mb L2 cache, 533FSB. I understand the 6000 takes any M processor on a 400 or 533 bus.

I'm thinking about getting the processor on ebay, though, since it's so much less expensive that way. Does anyone here have experience getting a processor pulled from another machine that installed and ran well?

How hard is it to upgrade the CPU at home? I am fairly comfortable working inside my laptop, though I wouldn't mess with the motherboard. Does the CPU upgrade require flashing the BIOS, or is it plug and play?

I have been using my computer for so long I have forgotten a lot of the basics. I had to change from a floor box to a desk top and don't know how to find out what size or it's capacity in Gb's. On top of that, I live in Spain and everything is is Spanish.
