Sure, you can use an LCD monitor in DOS if you like... You just plug it in and go...
If you want to use the screen at it's full capability, you'll have to get a decent video card, and find the drivers for it. But other than that, an LCD monitor should work with anything you can plug it into.
If you're talking about a small LCD screen like, something you would fit into your car, you might have a little more trouble. You have to look for high resolution small LCD screens, which are pretty expensive. But if you're talking about a big/normal LCD, you should be good to go.

der no difference in compatibility of lcd or dat big box monitor
u can reun any os on lcd which u've runned on dat big monitor
