There is an agency I think that is part of the United States government. Well anyway this website has a free download that takes a photo of your entire system an after will open the web page with a complete in depth detailed description of every piece of hardware, software, downloaded programs, plus critical updates from Microsoft. Plus it will also show the serial# on all hardware, name, mfg., etc. etc. and details related to all software. I have this program in two computers.

What is great about this software you can print out all the pages and keep it for your records, as it has the date and time the photograph was taken.

This data helped me in court to put a major computer shop into bankruptcy, an out of business. When I took my laptop into for a routine checkup they removed expensive chips and replaced them with used chips. (The photograph shows the ID, of the original chips, and the ID, of the used cheap chips installed after the routine checkup.

Right click on My Computer, then go to Properties. Your system properties will pop up. You then click on the hardware tab and device manager. This show you all of the hardware you have installed. Just click the + sign on the device you need to know more about, right click on the device, then go to Properities. Here you will find information about the hardware, drivers, etc..

Hope that helps!
