I started a print job and then realized, too late of course, it had already printed. When I tried to cancel the print the power button just kept flashing and when I pushed it, it started again. Help! I need to know how to stop it and keep it from continuing to print the cancelled job when it is turned back on. I have a HP deskjet 5940.

So I have an HP Pavillion computer with Realtek HD Audio Manager installed. I also have a microphone, but when I plug it in and speak into it, I only hear playback through my left ear and not the right ear. Music and other stuff works fine; it's just when the microphone plays back that it doesnt play back the right side. I've already looked at the master volume and checked the balance and all and everything looks normal. The microphone is not the problem either, I've tried on different comps. I've been trying to fix this problem for 5 months now, and it's really pissing me off. Can someone please help me out here; I'd greatly appreciate it.

i have one of the cheap 3D fuzion PCI video card with 128mb DDR.
the core speed of the GPU is 275mhz and the RAM speed is dual 350mhz.i am useing STOCK cooling on the GPU.what would be a safe speed to overclock it to.i have one 120mm intake fan in the front bottom of the case and a 120mm in the front of the case blowing the air out.the card is on the last slot and there is NO slot covers. i am going to get a slot cooler so what would be a safe speed BEFORE i get the slot cooler and AFTER i get a slot cooler.

The other night I was using it without it being plugged in so the battery was running lower and lower. All of a sudden it just completed shut up. I just figured it was because there was no batttery left (and this had happened once before and I was able to just plug it in and it rebooted) This time it wont even turn on with it being plugged in to the wall.

A laptop is portable and great to use in class to write notes, but I don't type too much faster than I write.
A P.C. is bigger, but it's more reliable, it can be upgraded, has more memory, and can do lots of more stuff.
A laptop's internet connection may frequently disconnect if it's wireless.
A P.C. is not portable and I may not be able to do homework everywhere I go, but that's why they invented C.D.s and Flash Drives.

What else should I consider? What do you think would be better to buy? Which will help me more in college. Which has more benefits?
