I read somewhere that you shouldn't remove the widgets that came with Tiger. I don't know why you shouldn't. Do a search for Widgets with Spotlight and you'll get two Widgets folders on the list. Hover over them and it'll tell you where they are.

lol it's true, click the little plus in the lower left hand corner, click on the widgets manager widget, and there should be an x next to names of stuff. Actually it's a no entry sign. I just checked because I'm coming to you live from my macbook! lol
