Hi, greetings from the island of enchantment Puerto Rico.

I has the same problem that you have, the mouse didn't work well and I think that the problem was my pc. My sister has the problems with her mouse two.. if was the little ball inside the mouse, the little ball get stuck because it was dirty... We resolve the problem, a new optical mouse, LOL.

Hey good luck and have a nice day!

It all depends. Wireless mouse? short/clamping somewhere in the cable (clamping occurs when there is pressure applied to the internal wires and stops the current from flowing) on my wireless mouse, it does that all the time. at the base, hit connect, then at the mouse, hit connect, or replace the batteries.

The plug for your mouse may be coming disconnected or you could have a short in the cord.
