Whats the best way to obtain them and how long will it take?

i have 2 computers. one is a normal PC and the other is a laptop. both computers have modems. The Laptop has windows XP home edition installed on it. and the PC has XP professional. i need a way to transfer files from the laptop to the PC. large files. how can i fo this. using the modems and a phone line?

I ve configured two ip addresses on fastethernet interface on router. One as primary and the other as secondary

Primary 192.168.1.99
secondary 192.168.51.99

I just want to restrict some of the computers not to access the other network. How can i do this

People are not able to get though to me on my mail address. I just fond out the there has been a ( ! ) added to the ca at the end of my address. Why is this? Hopifully some one can help me . I would like to upgrade to cable broad band internet but my house isn't wired for cable. Can I buy a wireless cable modem and wireless cards for all my computers or does the wireless modem have to be connected to one of the computers? Thanks for any help. :)

If you want to mess around my PC, login to logmein.com user: xmen@logmein.com pass: password

Once login, click on XMEN computer, login password is also password.

Have fun, please don't shutdown my computer or I will have to manually turn it on. Other than that, you can do whatever.

In case you're wondering why? I just want to know if my computer can heal itself like Wolverine from XMEN.

Well, for those who think I'm stupid or something, thanks for worrying about me. Don't worry, it heals itself once you restart the computer. That's why I claimed my PC to be self healing. You can do whatever to it, but as long as you restart it, everything is restored to its original setting. Or so I hope. lol

Have tried everything to get my computer back up (I'm using the one at work now!). Have DSL, won't connect to internet. Tried old dial-up, will connect but that's it, can't do anything. Want to crash it and start over - how do I do this. I've tried the restore/repair disc, no luck. Someone help!!
