HI, there this is my second questions ... I want to setup a small office LAN network with 5-7 PCs. I wana know what all protocols can be used for speedier and efficient network, other than TCP/IP, for error free with efficient traffic. I want to setup the LAN for in a Windows 98 environment.

Hi,
If you map a network drive on two separate computers with different drive letters and the files you save on these drives are linked between them, will the users be able to view the files, even though they are using different drive letters?

I created the access-lists and the static entries to the cameras. I can ping the cameras from outside the firewall but when I use the browser to view images I get nothing.

I had on the top an icon of a home for clicking onto my home page;
for yahoo, now that is also gone.
I'am thinking perhaps netzero did away with it so i would only use
their tool-bar.

when i use ipconfig to see my computer's IP address and when i use any DNS server (like www.myipaddress.com) to get my ip address, the results are different. why this is so?

16GB OF RAM!!!!!!

Total HDD capacity raided at 5 is two friggin TERRA!!!!!!!!

It has a parallel port, not USB and doesn't have bluetooth or anything. My laptop does have bluetooth, wireless internet, etc. I normally use them in the same room, but they're not at the same desk.

I'd like something fairly cheap. Preferably under $50. I've seen bluetooth adapters and other options that were in the $100 range, which is more than I want to pay. Am I being too cheap?

How to even ask the question!?! I have one computer on-line via DSL ISP hook-up. How do I add a second computer and make use of the same DSL service line, in-house, so my friend can access the internet and also have his own computer to play on? I have winxp as the internet gateway in my cybercafe

currently i am using one one isp rightnow .

i am need to get one more isp. so i need to configure

two public ip in the same machine and has to get both

the both isp bandwidth at a time .So this can be done ???.

this has been coming up everytime I turn my computer on.
WINDOWS- SYSTEM ERROR
There is an IP conflict with another system on the netowork. I have cable and use linksys. But my other PC and laptop are both completely off and this still pops up. When this pops up my connection goes and I can't get anything working on IE or any instant messengers. Could someone be stealing my wireless connection? How come its doing this?
