every so often a dialogue box comes up that says that there is some kind of problem with internet explorer... i guess it is crashing?

it offers me two choices:
"send error report" and "don't send"

what does it all mean and what do i do here?

many thanks in advance cos it's starting to annoy me now?

ps... i am a technophobe, so avoid jargon!

I want to save some of the video's from Youtube on my computer so I can view them off line. Is there a way to do that that I am not aware of? Please teach me how.

I took some advice on yahoo answers about my computer crashing recently, and I did a system restore and computer repair several times and I everytime I log on to my name it keeps saying something like Im about to be logged in one minute and will automatically restart.Nothing has changed, sometimes I get a blue screen saying "fatal error" and says collecting crash, I dont know. The only thing I download that day was a downloading tool to download youtube,dailymotion and other video sharing sites. That may be the problem, but what I can do to fix this?

I've just downloaded picasa and it is on my desktop. when i click on it, a window comes up. I click on 'run' then 'i agree'. a bar comes up to say itsabout to run then when it is completed it just closes and nothing happens. why?
any info will be a preciated or if there are any other good picture software downloads that might work better. thankyou!

This isn't my PC although I'm allowed to do many things on it. I have to ask permission to remove programs. I know norton antivirus (better called virus) is very bad for the PC. However my mum doesn't get the point. I've even shown her experts opinions and she still won't budge.

How do I persuade?

The PC is dying and I know Norton is one of the things that helps that. It would be much more preferable to use ESET NOD32.

My 22 month old knows how to operate the mouse....to go to a specific object, then click.

Is there any way I can disable the mouse easily (can't unplug it., sorry).

Also, are there any programs that teach toddlers how to use computers? I am 100% for teaching her to be computer literate, but don't want to get that vsmile thing....I want her to get acquainted with the basics of a regular computer, but I want to be able to disable the mouse when I DON'T want her to mess with it.

this keeps on popping up on my Yahoo Messenger, changes my status and involuntarily sends out group messages to my contacts, I have ran my anti virus, changed my password, and used different PCs/servers as well as ran an anti-spy ware, but to no avail, its still there.

As much as possible, I need to retain the same YM ID. Please help. Any suggestions, recommendations, better yet solutions?

The screen on my laptop has gone wrong. It has coloured lines and I can see what should be happening as it has all the colours of say MSN loading but I can not see anything except lines. Someone has said that the graphics card has burned out so how do I go about getting it sorted??

hi i havnt got a xp disc ,i got my pc second hand,and i want to reinstall windows,or take it back to factory settings,my laptop is is a dell latitude 6400,i want to sell it ,so i thought i would clean it up first,ive bought 2 so called ,reinstall windows discs off ebay,but when u get them it just says put it in disc drive then take it out and put your windows disc in,gawd what a waste of money ,as i havnt got one,i used to have a wipe disc that cleaned your hard drive completely but ive lost it,any help please ,thank you ,it has 2gb,560 mhz.

I installed that At&t Norton antivirus the other day and it has messed up my computer ever since. I went to the symantec website and uninstalled it, and in my add/remove programs (hopefully) and my computer is still restarting on its own when I'm right in the middle of something, it just shuts down and restarts. Can anybody help me solve this problem? Thank you!
