Laptop problem?

When i am typing the curser will jump to another point on the page without me pressing or leaning on the button/dragpad. The strange thing is this happened with my last Dell Laptop. Please help this is driving me mad.

Your touchpad has set itself for 'tapping'. Go to the touchpad settings and unselect 'tapping' and this should fix your problem. good luck and let us know if this works :)

sometimes the pad goes bad. other times its cuz u THINK ur not touching it but u are. disable the pad in control panel and plug in a mouse =)
