Sorry about the vagueness of my problem. I was attempting to burn a DVD which i thought burned successfully, but during the playback there was no audio accompanying the video.... Basically, i'm watching people move their mouths, but can hear nothing....

How are you creating the disc ? From a video file ? From tested VOB file sets ?

Need more info

If from a video file, could be the program doesn't have the right codecs. so Google for the K LITE codec pack

Hi. Burning data to a DVD is different form burning a movie to a DVD. You usually need software to burn an ISO DVD image. Do you have this?

if you mean, when you go to play a cd and there's no sound?
you need to have the analog cable going from the back of the drive into the correct header. either on your sound card, or your motherboard.
otherwise it won't be able to have sound while playing back a cd

re connect your scart lead if that does not work buy a new scart lead and it will work perfecly, email me if you have any questions

What do you mean no sound?
Mine doesn't make any sounds and works fine...
