I have a software product that I am launching, it also has an accompanying website but I need somewhere to host the website while I am building and testing it...would my home PC be sufficient I need to host my website on it and use PHP and MySQL. What are your views on what I should do?

I am using Avira Anti-Virus Personal Edition (free edition) , Zone Alarm , Spybot -Search & Destroy, and Windows Defender. Avira im using to get rid of viruses, Zone alarm for a firewall, and spybot and windows defender for spyware. I am currently running on windows xp. If i use all these programs to protect my computer will it slow down my computer? are these programs good enough to protect my computer? and lastly, what are the best combinations of internet security that i should use?

I am trying to write the pseudocode for this.
(1) Hot dog 1.50
(2) Fries 1.00
(3) Lemonade .75
(4) End order
You should be allowed to keep ordering from the menu until you press 4 for End order, at which point you should see a total amount due for your entire order.

So far I have this:

Am I on the right track here? Will I be reassigning totalCost a new value each time instead of adding each cost together with the way I have it written? Thanks!

I got an Ibook G3 (Dual USB) from a friend.It has Mac OS X 10.1.5 installed.
But also Xubuntu Linux.(Dual Boot)
I want to install Mac OS 10.3 and remove Xubuntu.
How can I do that? I see that the Hard Drive has 3-4 partitions.
I inserted Panther CD but don't understand how can I remove all partitions.
You see I have never used Mac before.
All I want to do is delete everything and make a clean install of Mac OS Panther
Can somebody explain to me with simple words what should I do?

Ok, I am using comcast high speed Internet for my internet service. My modem has 5 lights. Power, Receive, Send, Online, and Activity. Its model I think is "SURFboard SB3100 Cable Modem" because thats what it says on the front. Like occasionally (almost every 5 or 10 minutes or so) The connection gets lost! It's so frustrating! All the lights go out in my modem and then slowly come back. What's the problem? Is it Comcast? Is it my modem? What should I do?

P.S. I use Windows XP. My modem is like 4,5 or maybe even 6 years old and so is my computer. Its a Sony computer. (sorry I Dont know the model)

Before my 3 year old son messed around with the computer the graphics looked decent. Probably the "high color" setting, when you go into "display" through the control panel. Now it's set to 16 color and I just can't fix it. I've went to display, clicked "high color", and then restarted the computer like it says but it always comes back 16 bit. I'd like an idea how to fix this please as the 16 color graphics are horrible!!!

Almost a year ago i decided to see how bad these viruses are (since i can just reload windows in the event of infection) and removed all antivirus, spyware, and adaware. I even have windows firewall off and my router firewall at low!

From the info of today, that all of these threats will slow down your computer, mine has not?

I have no protection yet have never had any popups, not slow paceses, no uknown programs installed and no abnormal behaviour. Am i just lucky? Aftaer almost a year!?

I just bought a new all-in-one printer, scanner and copier. It's an HP Deskjet F2110. However, I put a 74 ink cartridge in it and it's stuck and won't come out. Obviously it's the wrong one, since the printer does not recognize it (yeah, stupid, I know, but Wal-Mart had them sitting in the same display with the printers; I though it was the one that went with it). So, how do I get it out? I've tried everything! Even prying it out with butter knives! Any suggestions?

I have a website I created with MS Front Page that I sell products on. I have a generic Paypal shopping cart and I want to upgrade to a good professional cart with lots of features and add some form of affiliate features and overall upgrade the site. I just learned about meta tags. I didn't realize my website was listed under index. Now, that I changed my title from "index" to my home page name, it's still not updated when I do a search. I called yahoo tec support & they said it takes 2-3 weeks before the update...Is there a faster way? Thanx :)
