in case you're set on procuring a Belkin, then purchase the N because of the fact the Pre-N isn't N in any respect (because of the fact of this it is not upgradeable to N) because it grew to become into released earlier the N criteria had even come close to to being set. i could purchase a Linksys as they are the least complicated to setup and maximum good routers. I even have never had any success with Belkin something.

Compatible, yes, but that router is crap. I hope you haven't purchased it yet. Wireless N is still in the draft stage and Belkin did a terrible job implementing the evolving standard. If its extended range you want, look into WDS.

yea the router just passes the data back and forth. It has nothing to do with the type of computer. The belkin programs on the computer are Wizards for setting up the modem, But if that don't work, and it should, you can access the router with your web browser and set it up that way

well the router looks pretty damn new to me so it should be compatible with vista
