Vista drivers are available for the Canon i860. I haven't got space for the printer next to my Vista computer, thats why I want to access it over the LAN keeping it attached to the computer running ME.

Connect the printer to the Vista machine and turn on Printer sharing. Then, the ME PC should be able to use it.

NOTE: ColinC was right, you may not be able to find Vista drivers for it.

If the old printer doesn't have Vista drivers, you will need to buy a new (Vista compatible) printer. Vista's main purpose is to sell new hardware!!!

Yes, but you may have a problem getting Vista drivers if it is an old printer.
