To be quite honest I find no logic in your information that you have shared with us on "answers".
If you don't have an antivirus/antispyware program, then you have no way of knowing if your pc as been hijacked, rogue, dialers, keyloggers, adware, spyware, trace spyware and malware.
Just because you say you "have the fastest PC ever", by what benchmark did you come to this conclusion.
You failed to even list your "system profile".
Just about any security expert will tell you that if they set up a PC, just to harvest virues, within minutes of going onto the internet they have been infected.

To be blunt, if you do anything important with your PC at all, that seems like an idea that could only have negative consequences. As a white hat hacker, I can't even begin to tell you how easy it is to install a backdoor, keylogger, etc on to your PC, or even "hack" it without adversely affecting its performance. In fact, it's only the script-kiddies that give you a clue that they're on your system. Your computer hasn't slowed down because you probably haven't picked up much spyware, assuming you're using smart browsing habits. Right now, though, spyware is the least of your concerns. And for everyone else's sake, please protect your computer right away. Hackers just love to find a computer like yours that they can turn into a zombie to perform their illegal tasks, such as trying to infect remote servers with worms, sending spam to others, etc. You wouldn't even notice it if your computer was doing that, since things like that don't normally tie up all your resources like you were expecting. The possibilities are endless. Man, a computer like yours makes a hackers day! For our sakes, please secure it.

it is an argument for under abode windows clientele, because of the fact it takes income of a flaw in abode windows. "The Conficker malicious software spreads itself extra often than not with the aid of a buffer overflow vulnerability interior the Server provider on abode windows computers. The malicious software makes use of a particularly crafted RPC request to execute code on the objective pc." That buffer overflow vulnerability would not exist in Linux or Mac OS X. So, sorry, Conficker is a abode windows-in basic terms challenge, and antivirus utility won't enable you to. Microsoft released a patch for the vulnerability back in October. save your abode windows as much as date, and you'd be wonderful from this actual threat.

Depends a lot on how careful you are as to websites you visit, accepting e-mail with attachments etc you are. But it is possible to stay clean - as you've seen.
You also have the advantage of not having anti-virus software scanning everything that you do! I've known it cause some badly configured systems end up taking hours to do a task that should take 10 minutes!

You may be "lucky" because microsoft updates are turned on. Microsoft updates can help keep your computer from becoming infected with a virus, but only if the virus tries to infect your system via one of the security holes that seem to riddle microsoft windows.
As a rule of thumb, Anti-virus software can usually detect a virus that tries to infect your computer and is necessary if you get a lot of e-mail traffic and download "free" software or run e-mail enclosures.
Microsoft updates can't protect your system in those instances, however microsoft updates can help prevent malicious programmers from exploiting the security holes in the microsoft OS's.
I would NEVER run my computer on the internet without up to date anti-virus software. Try grisoft.com for free anti-virus software (AGV-free).

I would say so... just be so very careful.
Having 'No' security, means they can access anything, your bank account, your identity and all your other secure information.
My advice is, get some security into your PC a.s.a.p, and be safe. Even going on this site, some clever 'hacker' can get in easily, you've no idea !!!!
After all whats waiting for a few seconds for your site information to come through, then having nightmares about who is out there 'pinching' your most treasured possessions/finance, and identity ????
Best wishes, a friend x
Merry Christmas
