What codecs do I need?

About 5 mons ago I made a simple myspace account for my husband(for his distant family to see) He had nothing to do with it till about a week ago when all of a sudden he was fixing it up with music,pics,bios ect. Well last night I came home early from work to find him sleeping on couch and his myspace page up. For about a week he was sending/receiving private msgs. from a old gf(she had contacted him 1st) u could tell by what she said she was still interested in him. Now there was nothing bad in any of his responces to her but there was NO mention of me and he would respond to her PM as soon as he got them(like he was watching for them).Plus he never once said anything to me about this.Now when I asked him about this he played it off as no big deal but as soon as he could he went and deleted his whole account.Why if it was no big deal? My concern is he has a history with this gf as he cheated on his last wife with her and I don't want history to repeat itself.

Imacs cost money, which i dont have. Therefore i was curious if there was such things as a garage band for a PC that had the same quality.

I have just worked for a few hours on a christmas newsletter using OpenOffice, and when I got done with the document, I exported it into a PDF format. I was really surprised (and frustrated), when I realized that my wonderful font (Myriad Pro) was replaced with Arial into the pdf file.
Please tell me what can I do?

ps. Microsoft Office is not an option

Yesterday, I downloaded a song off of MySpace and it didn't play when it was in .mp3 format on my PC. Windows Media player told me it had an "authorized extension" or something of that sort. Anyways, today I log in to my PC to find out..."Norton Anti-Virus has detected and deleted a virus with the title of "Backdoor.Graybird". I really need to know if Norton has permanetly deleted the virus or not. If not, how do I go about getting rid of it? It says it was deleted from my temporary internet files. Please help me....

it takes up2 1 minute to load and at many points when i run 'a few' tabs it hooks up and my computer eventually crashes. can anybody offer advice on how to get around mozilla crashing my computer. i would use ie7 but i somehow managed to f**** that up to

I have a one and a half year old Dell Latitute D510 laptop with four missing buttons: ENTER key, M, N and comma keys are missing also. Would a pawn shop take it and how much would I get it for it? I think they would offer me 60-75.

I would like to know how a typical client, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox browser, would react if I create duplicate A Records to point one domain name, such as www.abc.com, to two IP addresses, say IP1 and IP2, which ultimately will reach the same server through a router that owns the two IPs. Will that result in an automatic fail-over, meaning that if IP1's connection is down, the client will automatically try to reach www.abc.com through IP2. Or will that only result in random access, meaning that the client will randomly choose from IP1/IP2 to use and if the one chosen is down, will still result in failure to connect?

I ran a free antispyware scan with XoftSpy from www.paretologic.com and it listed that my notebook is infected with CWS.Oslogo (type: registry value; threat level: Severe risk;object: software\microsoft\internet explorer\styles\user stylesheet ) .
For removing this registry entry I was asked to purchase the XoftSpy program.
What are the ways/instructions to MANUALLY & SAFELY edit the Windows registry in order to get rid of this malicious registry entry?

Is there any way to find out who someone is just by knowing their e-mail? My sister is being bothered by someone through e-mails...he has no yahoo profile, we searched on myspace, yahoo search, google search.....we can't find out anything....and we also did a reverse email lookup i think it's called..... her password keeps getting changhed on her account, everytime she goes to sign on it's been changed......is there anything we can do? is their anyways we can trace where the emails are coming from?

topic, do i have unscrew the metal plate to get in to the fan? cus when i open the tower i see everything but the fan.

I will get maybe a good half an hours work in and then my PC shuts down. It either won't start back up when i try to start or will make it to my profile and then shut down again. I thought that maybe it was over heating but the PC isn't even that warm. Please help?

also, when it restarts, a error report message comes up that says, "Windows has just recovered from a serious error" i send the error report but the problem comes up as "unknown".

can anyone help??
