I dont have a mac key board any more I got a windows wire less key board that works with mac, but how do i up the brightness of the screen? is there like something i can press on the key board or like some all into it thing i can do with the mouse?

I am curious if there is a website or a place that i can call to stop all these emails from coming to me, what sucks is it is on my main ISP account and I will be charged a provisional transfere fee, I would rather not go that route I have a blocking feature in webmail but i have already maxed out of 500 blocked emails, So if anyone knows of a website or a place that i can call and add my email to to stop this crap from coming that would really make my day. I have set my email SMTP to 587 as told by my isp but it didnt even put a dent in it.

I opened a document from Word of the internet and kept pressing save, and it kept saving, but when i closed it i could not find it again.

Pleeeeease help me. My grade depends on it. I can't even retrieve the temp file. it's hidden and i ask for search to find hidden files, but it does not come up.

Some friends are finally getting broadband cable internet. They have two computers that they want hooked up to it. When they asked the provider about it they were told to get a router to connect the 2 pcs to the same modem. So how do i know what i am looking for when i am looking on ebay for them? I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FE670G laptop computer. It has an Intel Core Duo T2300 CPU dual-core at 1.66GHz Clock Speed and 667MHz FSB, 1GB RAM and a 5400rpm, 100GB hard drive.

When I am surfing the web on the computer and am also running simultaneous scans with Grisoft AVG Antivirus 7.5 and also AVG Antispyware 7.5, the computer runs so slow. Pages take anywhere from almost 10 seconds to maybe a minute or more to open up.

But when I go to Windows Task Manager to look at the system's performance, the computer never reaches peak RAM usage.

So if I upgrade the RAM to 2GB(which is the maximum amount the motherboard can handle), will it really help?

The system's current RAM is 1GB(2x512 MB). So upgrading to 2GB will require replacing the two memory chips with 2x1GB. That's not cheap. If upgrading to 2GB helps for now, I don't know how much longer it will be before my computer will run slow again.

Would I be better off just buying a new, faster laptop?
