Is there any "USB Hub" in the listing?

If there isn't, then it needs to be enabled in the BIOS, not device manager.

short answer...No, you won't be able to upload USB ports to a computing device, different than with the aid of an exterior USB hub. in spite of the fact that, considering the fact that the two ports are undesirable, i'm having a guess that remarkable a hub off of a undesirable port won't supply you greater usable ports. fixing the present USB port concern... It looks such as you desire the motherboard (or the board the USB ports are related to) replaced. If the computing device is under guarantee, it won't value you something. If not, changing the motherboard could be an high priced proposition (numerous hundred money).

If I understand the question correctly, you need to go to start-->run--> then type "services.msc" without quotes, click ok, then look in the list for removable storage and see if it is running.
