Yesterday, I downloaded a song off of MySpace and it didn't play when it was in .mp3 format on my PC. Windows Media player told me it had an "authorized extension" or something of that sort. Anyways, today I log in to my PC to find out..."Norton Anti-Virus has detected and deleted a virus with the title of "Backdoor.Graybird". I really need to know if Norton has permanetly deleted the virus or not. If not, how do I go about getting rid of it? It says it was deleted from my temporary internet files. Please help me....

The only way you will know for sure, because backdoor trojans can be hidden, and you will never find, or there may be traces of the virus left in your system, is to run Trend Micro HouseCall. (No conflict with Nortons).

Follow the instruction on the link, plus you will have to download a safe active "x" for the scanner to work from their server. Complete the entire scan, and any and all viruses or trace spyware, viruses will be killed.

open internet explorer, then go to tools, then internet options. Undert the general tab you should see a button that says SETTINGS! click that then hit VIEW FILES. Those are all the temporary internet files stored in your computer. Find that file and delete it!
