I have just worked for a few hours on a christmas newsletter using OpenOffice, and when I got done with the document, I exported it into a PDF format. I was really surprised (and frustrated), when I realized that my wonderful font (Myriad Pro) was replaced with Arial into the pdf file.
Please tell me what can I do?

ps. Microsoft Office is not an option

Yes, this is a problem with the OpenOffice pdf export and many online pdf converters. It seems that Myriad Pro is particularly troublesome (I like and use this font also and have had this happen). IBM Lotus Symphony also does not convert this correctly.

Try using the adobe website and their online converter, it sometimes works better. Otherwise you will need to buy the full version of acrobat 8 to do the conversion on your machine.
