rebooting is the same as restarting the pc. click start-turn off pc-restart.=done. now what you need to do is burn a cd copy of the OS for when or if you need to reinstall the OS. good luck.

There is no logic in your question. Are you telling us that you have never shut down your pc. (An "illegal operating system", does not prevent you from rebooting your system).

Unless, you have been shut down by Microsoft, because of repeated warnings from their "WGA", (Windows Genuine Advantage Tools, that copies your IP, and your entire system and determines if the key you are using has been stolen, or use in another system).

I don't know what country that you reside in, but you can buy a cheap mouse from a computer store and they will sell you "OEM", Microsoft Windows XP HOME, or for around $100.00 or less.

Suggest you get legal, before Microsoft takes serious action against you, like criminal charges.

Rebooting is Restarting.

Do you have an Illegal Operating System or is your Operating System just saying that?

Hope this helps you!

well, if you have an illegal one, you have to get a legal one first then reinstall in into your computer. If you bought your computer from a major company and you have recovery discs, you can just pop that in and reintall your operating system (windows). If you don't want to spend money, get linux, it's free.
