I use a WEP key so why is windows vista asking me to enter in credentials or whatever. What would the username and password be? shouldnt it just ask me for the security key?

On a Dell laptop w/ Windows XP, there is a recurring error message that says "Server is Busy. Program Manager not responding. Retry?" It doesn't seem to block applications, but the error windows are a pain to close. This started happening at about the same time popups started to appear. Have any of you encountered such an error and have an idea how to resolve it?

I scream at mine sometimes until I'm blue in the face, but it takes absolutely no notice.
My last one was so slow in the end, that it took up smoking after I'd thumped it and I had to get a new one.

hi, im kinda new to the wireless thing so here goes.

1. i have a desktop with internet access and a laptop with a built in wireless receiver that needs internet. cool. so i hook up my router and get it all set up. cool. does the router cause the signal strength of the internet connection to diminish at all since both computers are sharing the same internet line??? And what if both comps are on th einternet at the same time?

2. the router i have is a d-link g router. it kinda just came with the laptop as a sale deal. what kind of range will this router give me compared to other routers? will it at least give me coverage across my house? Is this a crappy router? Some dtails plz?

3. how do i access the inernet when i am not near a router such as mine, like say on the road?

The two parts that im looking to upgrade first are the ram and the processor. My problem with the ram is that the ram card does not fit into the slot on my 98... and then for the processor, doing the hardware install should be easy enough, but once i turn on the computer will there be software problems or anything that i need to install? I want to be able to use this computer for world of warcraft, which at some point will require me to get a better graphics card i no.

The Operating System is Vista

I just got a new computer and, according to the Add/Remove Programs, it has Microsoft Office 2007 installed. But when I try to run Word 2007, it says I need to enter a product key in order to run it. But it didn't come with a product key because it was already installed on my computer. So what do I do?
