That depends on how old a computer you're asking about. If the computer's no more than 5-6 years old, companies such as http://www.crucial.com/ or http://www.kingston.com/ will have memory available for most models of that vintage. If it's more like 9-10 years old or more, I'd recommend trying Ebay.

How old. Do you need pc100/133, or do you need EDO? Most of this type of older memory is still available on E-bay.
