What I learned to do, is, Browse about 400 sites while you are online, click "save as" in your "file" menu, and just go to another site and click "save as" again.
Keep repeating this until you have 400 pages saved in "web Archive" format.
You could even download wikipedia pages in this way. Just save pages and pages of anything you are interested in (volcanos, history, electric cars and bikes, etc.)

Everything will be saved to your hard drive. Try to download a page a minute.

So after you move, you can plug your computer in, click on the icons, and actually read what you downloaded.

Save anything of interest, and put off reading the whole article until after you move.

You can use any of the creative software. Write, play music, watch dvds, play games, do financial stuff, all kinds of things.

Find someone that has a wireless dongle (usb device), borrow it and plug it into your pc - you may find that one of your neighbors has a wireless router that is accessible.
