In some if my case clients will scan and email me pdf files that I need to file with the court. I can generate the necessary cover sheet by either scanning or printing it as a PDF using software like CutePDF. How can I by combine the two files without any unnecessary expense?

the other day after downloading a file i kept getting this message that my system was infected with the latest version of trojan and to download some spyware software. when i bite it took me to a site that asked me to purchase the program. so i cancelled and ran all the lasted anti-virual software and no virus was found. this message keeps coming up and disrupting anything i do on my computer, sometimes the message comes in layers like solitare, very annoyinging. what i do to get rid of it?

i got my laptop 3 months back... after a month (from date of purchase) my system got virus... so i went shop(where i bought my laptop).... they told me to format.... that is the only way.... so i asked them to do format.... those guys formatted all the drives without knowing... that my system having recovery system in one drive.... so i lost every thing.... so can any one tell me how to get the recovery cds for my system.... i am in chennai now.... shall i go to hp service center.... warranty period still there.... plz help me...

Its still in a beta state but i am gona make the list of all software downloads with keys.
Later i can add some other stuff like musics(NO SPYWARE OR ADWARE).

Im kind of low on budget, so lets keep it below 1200. Hi, Im using an on-board sound card & I think theres something wrong with it. It is not my speakers prob as I've tested it using my i-pod. My sound just stop playing all of a sudden. Especially when playing games or watching videos. My motherboard is P4i65GV.

PS. this problem started about 2 months ago. I could still get the sound to project but now it completely died.

I have an Acer 5050-3242 laptop which has a AS5050 Motherboard DA0ZR3MB6E0 and right now a 2.0 Ghz AMD Turion 64 mobile MK-36. Now I am just wondering what I need to look at in order to find out what processor I can put in. How do I tell what processor is compatible with my computer and motherboard. I've done research on the matter but am still oblivious as to how cache and bus speed correlates with my processors compatibility to my motherboard.

Ok, this is weird, but every store I go to (e.g Staples, Office Max, even Target) they have some sort of special, like if you bring in a used ink cartridge, you get something like free paper, or a few dollars off a new one. My question is are they bad for the enviorment. All these places just tell you that you get these things if you bring one in, but I have yet to find out exactly why! I am just curious, are they bad for the landfills, or worth money?

The desk top has a CDRW/DVD and the laptop has a dvd re-writer. I have tried flash drives and CD...It transfers over but sometimes when i come to open the file on laptop windows simply shuts down and restarts.....
I have scanned for viruses..mal-ware etc...the laptop is all clear.
And before you slate vista this is the only problem i've had with it since i've had it...and it's not really a problem.
I'm thinking because i'm trying to transfer video from XP/cd to Vista/dvd this may be the problem.
I don't have trouble transfering other data, such as music and files...only video/movies.
Any sensible ideas would be great.
