You don't defrag a CPU, you defrag a hard drive.

You can do so by clicking: START> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Defragment

Be prepared to let the computer run for a long time because defragging may take hours to accomplish depending on how many files need to be rearranged.

There's nothing to fragment or defragment in a cpu.

You can, and occasionally should, defragment your hard drive. If you're using Windows:

open My Computer
right-click the drive, choose Properties
click the Tools tab
click Defragment Now
(the exact names may vary in different versions of Windows, but they should be pretty close)

The correct answer is you dont. You can defrag the hard drive, but that is not the CPU. Windows has a built in utility to defragment the hard drive.
It is located at Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter. Open it and click "defragment", then wait while it runs. If you have Linux, defragmentation is unnecessary as Linux does not "throw crap" all over the hard drive, but neatly arranges it so that defragmentation is unnecessary. To upgrade your computer to Linux, go to www.kubuntu.org and download it and install it.

humm i consider the System Process is simply idleing... so while ever your pc has not anything to do it simply is going to that. Generally relies on how a lot ram you've gotten, you'll disable different methods that's chewing it up or get extra RAM. More so if u are gambling video games then time to appear at upgrading that GPU. In General RAM could make a approach particularly gradual via making the working approach switch knowledge out to the very gradual HD for maintain sake till required. RAM are very speedy. So should you dont have alot of RAM, there will probably be alot of swapping and that makes loading gradual. If you've gotten an epidemic the gradual could hit an additional method, so appear round and check out to finish different techniques thats no longer utilized by the approach. Since the System method doesnt also have .exe, if it does have an approach.exe then u have an epidemic.
