Im kind of low on budget, so lets keep it below 1200. Right now i play alot of world of warcraft, and would like to buy a laptop so i could bring it over to one of my friends house and play it with them, so whats a computer that can run a big game like that (with no trouble like lag, or freezing), has decent graphics, and has a decent size screen and good battery life?

My Toshiba is on list of five very good laptops (PC World, November). I paid $399. It came with 512mb RAM which was not enough to run Vista and anything else. Installed more RAM, and it is great. This week (Thanksgiving) - the papers are loaded with deals.

You do not have to have an expensive laptop to run games, just one that has a good reputation for support - and lots of RAM. Games - which are primarily graphics - consume RAM. Forget the bells and whistles and buy as much RAM as the laptop will tolerate. Check the laptop's specs for that information.

If you plan to run it for a long time, there is a chance the laptop could get hot. I bought an Antec cooler, $9.99 after rebate. Also, I run mine mostly with the AC adapter. Can't be bothered with power running out.
