Micrsoft Access help- related creating queries for forms?

Question

I am designing a form which has a field that asks for the ''user number"
so would i create a parameter query ? or what?

usually a field such as user number is the primary key, so it's either automatically generated or you need to enter it yourself.
your question really doesn't make that much sense.
forms are created to ease data input into the database.
queries are either created in design few or sql view and retrieve information from the database.
