When I right clisk on the desktop and then select "properties" the message displayed is:
"The operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator".

I can't even goto the "Internet" properties - the message is displayed!!
What to do??

At my school we have to use computers. Well my hardrive crashed so we sent it back and we are supossed to get a new computer today. Well for the last 5 weeks i have been using my moms. I have not downloaded anything broken anything put any viruses nothing. but today she went to buy my computer she got one exactly like hers and she told me she is going to keep that one and i have to keep this one. I don't think it is fair because for the past 5 weeks i have not had internet at school i have missed assignments. And i would like a new computer. Am i wrong for wanting that

As we all know, ATX power supply is supplied to ATX motherboard.

But, besides ATX motherboard, which form factor can also use ATX power supply?

BTW, what power supply does Flex-ATX, DTX, or Mini-ITX form factor use?

I am trying to figure out how to insert another address into the address label template. For example, if all of the addresses were already filled in in each of the label boxes, how do I not change the order and insert a new address somewhere in the middle of what is already there? It does not seem to let me just tab over to create a new blank label in the document.

I have a bunch of computers(about 4 now, but will grow) at point A and another bunch(3 now, but will grow too) at point B. The distance between A and B is somewhere between 50-100m. I need all of my computers to be able to connect at full speed(1Gbps) at the same time. I don't care if it is wireless or not, but I prefer not to dig for cables.

What kind of equipment should I use to build such connection? An ordinary gigabit switch just won't do the job because it will limit the connection to one gigabit.

Ask for any details I will be monitoring this question closely, thanks.

I have a Gateway laptop and the little blue light shows up saying that my wireless is on. is it possible, that when I start my laptop, the system information says that my processor is a core duo one, and when I look at the system information, yes it confirms I indeed have a core duo processor - but is it possible that this was doctored?? because my laptop moves as slow as a pentium 1 computer!! and its only a couple of weeks old! Could the computer shop that sold me this have doctored the system information? I havent installed anything big on it so far, so it should move fast! no virus or spyware, checked that already.. And the memroy is a decent 100 Gigs, with 1 Gig ram (or something like that)

Please help! I made a new account to become the computer administrator, but the account my family had on the same computer (they also were computer administrators before me) got deleted!!! Everyone - my siblings and I - had our essays on the account that got deleted. I don't know how it got deleted, because I would not delete that account (and nobody else knows my password). I was messing around trying to fix my limited internet connection and I accidentally disabled my wireless internet. There's a red x next to it and I can't enable it now. I clicked enable but there is still a red x near it. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I use windows vista with an HP slimline desktop.

It's right below the keyboard (like always) and every time the palm of my hands gets too close, the curser does weird things and completely interrupts me when I'm typing. Sometimes what I'm typing will appear 6 inches up, in the middle of an existing paragraph ! I HATE IT , I HATE IT !!
I deleted the driver, and before that I would de-activate the mousepad from conrol panel, but nothing permanently deactivates it. I never use this thing, because i have a USB mouse.
Right now i have a piece of ugly cardboard covering it It works, but is there a better way?
