I was messing around trying to fix my limited internet connection and I accidentally disabled my wireless internet. There's a red x next to it and I can't enable it now. I clicked enable but there is still a red x near it. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I use windows vista with an HP slimline desktop.

Another thing, I don't understand how system restore doesn't fix my internet problem. I thought it was supposed to fix alot of things if you set back the date to which it hadn't happened. Yet I still can't connect to the internet.

"Limited internet connection" is a little vague, so I'm struggling with your original problem here. And accidentally disabling your wireless internet usually means something's broke now that wasn't broke before. so my conclusion is that without having the box to work on, there ain't no way to tell you what you did. For immediate access, cable your router to your pc

Here's what I'd do to try to fix your problem,

1. shut down your pc
2. power off your modem and router
3. power up your modem wait 60 seconds
4. power up your router wait 60 seconds
5. Power up your pc and try to repair the wireless connection you were using.

Good Luck
