When i turn on my comp my network magic turns off but im still connected why?

Don;t fully understand that one either. The same thing happens to my laptop. So I have concluded that NM does not interfere with the network, but merely monitors it when it's working properly. The funny thing is that NM works fine on my desktop, but only sometimes on the laptop.

You might try to uninstall NM and then reinstall it.
