Okay. I currently have a toshiba A215-s4747 which I heard break alot. I have the option to keep this computer and get a sidekick for christmas or return this computer (bought it a few days ago) and get a brand new macbook for christmas and nothing else..
Is the macbook worth a month waiting for?

All my life I have used Windows, and now I feel I really want a mac laptop. They are so beautiful and they seem to work alot better than xp. But the problem is I have no idea how to run anything that is mac. I dont even know how to turn a mac on! I really really want a mac book but I'm afraid I will have trouble using it knowing nothing of mac.I guess the question I am posing is, For my next laptop, should I stick with a windows, or should I get the Mac that I really want, though dont know how to use? And if so, what are the pros and cons? If you were in my case, would you buy the mac?

AirSnare keeps detecting an unauthorized Mac Address on my network. I have turned off my wireless connection, but my homeportal homepage says that there is someone still connecting wirelessly. I suspect that it may be my own 2wire modem/rotuer itself. The problem is that I can not seem to find its Mac Address. Is there a way for me to find it? I am using a 2Wire 1800 HG modem/router.

I am curious to know how many people out there know that you DON'T have to use Windows, and that Mac OSX isn't the only other option.
Have you ever tried a Unix/Linux based OS? Or any others? Please share your favourites?

I have a number of sheets in a workbook.
Each sheet has various rows of data. I have a For..Next loop to open each sheet.
Each sheet must be analyzed for zero balances in COL M.
A nested Loop controls the number of times to go "down" the Col. If the cell >0, then the loop continues "down" CoL M.
The available number of rows may not contain data and at a point the next sheet is opened.
The starting Cell is Selected and it's value returned. If the value = 0, Then, I must Scroll to Left and test the cell for data.
After the first starting cell, when scrolling is done, "down" and or "left", I cannot get the value of those cells.
The Cursor is not there so I cannot Activate and/or Select the cell for testing.
(ClearContents), is performed based on 0 value in Col M
and >0 value in Left cell. Other non-contiguous cells are then also cleared of contents, which means that I must have access to those cells, (Activated and/or Selected).
How can I get values in those?

So, I planned on stop using Yahoo DSL for $25/month, but use Insight's $30/month internet with 6x faster speed. I have the AT&T Yahoo internet modem, the one that also works as the wireless router. It's called Gateway if I am not mistaken. So, can I use that modem for my Insight Broadband? Because Insight requires me to buy another modem...

I am currently taking a course learning the DREAMWEAVER, I am new to this web design world, I would like to become a web designer, start up my own business for creating ECommerce/standard web sites for customers.
my question is, while dreamweaver could allow someone to create a decent web page without any languages knowledge like javascript, ajax, css ect, i wonder is it worth to learn all these languages if i could master my dreamweaver program.
Could you please also tell me the disadvantages of the dreamweaver program.

t to my email on yahoo, The mail will not show the mail when I highlight an only blue lines suggesting the links with in the yahoo, page One other website does not look like it should leaving the background colors of the web site out an with my email on yahoo also. We have 2 internets on our computer, we have Comcast highspeed internet through our cable but I use Internet Explorer to get on and my dad uses AOL (Free version) to get on... I say its AOL that makes our computer slow because when we turn on our computer everything AOL has to load and it takes tons of time and everytime my dad opens AOL the computer freezes up but my dad says its Internet Explorer that makes the computer slow because everytime he tryes to get on AOL my Internet Explorer is open!! I also think McAfee has something to do with the computer being slow, mostly because my dad downloaded the extended AOL version of McAfee.... Also my dad says I make the computer slow by having lots of screens at the bottom!! What do you think?? We have Windows Xp!!
