please step by step im bad about computers i click on this sign and there it goes they are looking for numbers that i dont have i bougth my computer with windows on it xp pro service pack2

They are probably looking for the "product key."
This is proof that you purchased the software.
It usually appears on a sticker on the envelope or plastic protective case of the software CD.
I will send a couple of free keyfinders that may help you.
You might also want to "validate" your software as legal.

The Product Key Code should be on a sticker on the back of your computer.
